On census night, if someone was an enumerator would they be included on the census??? Told you it was silly!!! LOL Sarah xxx |

Yes, everyone is included. Not sure WHERE though. Enumerators are listed at the beginning of each piece of the census. nell |

Wouldn't they have been tucked up in bed with Mrs Enumerator? I thought they went out a day or 2 later and asked who slept there on the night of...!! |

In my favourite small Norfolk village, I can identify the enumerator on the census. It is amazing how much more accurate the census is when the enumerator was a local man, rather than in the year when it was a land agent, born in Scotland. |
