Have been looking for the head of house John L Anderson for ages and now found him. Having trouble reading the address, johns occupation is ? mason and also where his two eldest children were born in USA. Leanne x

It looks like Broomieside Cott Houses. Could the childrens birthplace say USA (American sub)

it might say American soil. Could the word before mason be Estate. Further up the page it appears before painter.
