Thanks Jess, I thought it was just me. I need to see the image, because I think either the returning officer or the transcriber has got his birthplace wrong. I think my guy was born in FORDINGTON Dorset, but I can see that it was an easy mistake to make, they look similar. Thanks any way guys. LIZ
