Amanda, I will ask MIL tomorrow, her head is full of info like that! If not, I will pack her off to the museum if that's any help? as she lives close by. Kim

Does anyone know what this place was in 1891? A relative, Alice J McGoff was there, occupation Laundress as were a lot of others, but status down as Inmate. Would this of been a 'House of Industry' like the workhouse in Alverstoke where she was from. Cheers
