hiya Ann, I believe that it would be bronchic, pthisis, Which basically means TB If you 'google' whatever states on cert it should bring it up on google, I have always found it helpful Julie :)

It could be that she was 'with child' again and went into premature labour and both she and the child died - or the child was still born.

Hiya Again, I have had this on a cert of mine, Basically it means that she had TB for 14 months, before dying, the child was 18 days old when she died, hope this helps Julie :) PS after re reading message, it may mean that she had it for 14 months then had the child, then continued to linger for 18 days afterward Julie :)

Thank you each and all - her youngest as we knew it was 8 mths old when she died she must have been prgnant again - went into premature birth and died 18 days after. Poor toad. We know her husband remarried, had a son and both daus. left home in their mid teens and went into service. Case we think of wicked stepmother as the family were middle class and no way would girls have normally gone into service. Ann
