Would someone be generous enough to look up 5 names of my ancestors in the 1851 Worcester Census? I would be eternally grateful... Any one of these names will do fine: Thomas Yarnold (Age 14 - 17) Emma Yarnold (Age 16 - 19) If they are not listed, maybe their parents are listed: James Yarnold (Aged 35+) Mary Anne Yarnold (Age 35+) Finally: Maria Waldron (Age 30+) Any help would be very much appreciated!! |

Hi, There are a lot of hits for Yarnold on familyhistory online. It's a pay to view site but very reasonable. Not the 1851 census, though, sadly Gwynne |

Hi Giles Have you any idea where they were born or where they would have lived? Heather |

Hi Heather, I think the Yarnolds were all born in Bromsgrove, Worcester. Maria Waldron was probably born in Belbroughton. |

Sorry Giles, I couldn't find them. The only Maria Waldron was aged 2, daughter of Thomas and Ann. They live at Bournheath. Heather |

The 4 Yarnolds should have all been living together, so perhaps it's one of those unfortunate occasions when the entire household were missing or not present on census night. As for Maria, she had an illegitimate child in 1838, but may have got married during the 1840s. Thanks for looking anyway; I appreciate it! Has anyone got the 1841 Census? |

Hi Giles, Do you have any birth places for these people. There are quite a few Yarnolds and there are two Maria Waldrons, one 37 & one 39 both married in 1851 census. Trixie |
