I'm trying to find more out about my Grandfather's role in WWII. He was part of the Royal Corps of Signals and I've found his rank number, but i'd like to try and find out more about what he did. He was evacuated from Dunkirk, took part in the Battle of El Alamein and was in Sicily too. How can I find out what regiment he was in? Or is the Royal Corps of Signals the regiment name? It looks as though he may have been part of the 8th Army. Thanks in advance for any help, Nicola |
