Thanks for in put everyone, just been on family org site and noticed sorter Gpo, but didnt pick it up as occupation as all other males seem to have been in building trade, one way or another some still are in the same line now. Slapped wrist again i suppose for not looking closely enough and expecting what i thought rather than seeing what was there. Time for a rest i think, too many slip ups tonight and not a drink passed my lips, Yet!! Joan

It seems to be totally the wrong 'chapter of the book' as image 12 of 54 is Folio 65. Sorter GPO sound quite reasonable as an occupation to me.

Joan, I think you need to contact Ancestry, as although he is transcribed as page 8, when you try to view the image, it's page 4 that comes up. However, even going to page 8, he isn't there. They must have mixed up the images. Kath. x

RG11 is 1881. Are you getting an error message when you try and view the image? If so, the image is missing

Joan, Which census year is this for? And do you have any dates for your ancestor? Mandy :)

I have looked (and looked some more) on Ancestry for the original image of Charles W Ozier. Source information: RG11/0275 Sub-registration district: Islington East ED, institution, or vessel: 81 Folio: 7 Page: 8 the transcription is there but cannot find the original to verify the details of employment etc. Have been through the whole set and found some from Shewsbury but not the one that i want. What do i do now, look in Shewsbury? ;0) Thanks, Joan
