hi I am looking for my adopted brother who was born 3 years before me,his birth name was Andrew Gay and he was born 17th August 1968 in Bristol,his adoption was done by St Faiths adoption society in Coventry,was just wondering if anyone could help? thanks Sue |

As you know his name and the agency thru who he was adopted, you can write a letter to be placed on his file in case he decides to hunt out his origins. he may have already done so in which case the adoption agency will pass the letter on for him bear in mind, sad though it is, he may not know he was adopted, and that loads more women want 'to know' whereas men are often not bothered and never search. Bear in mind that the agency will not tell you his new name - they are not allowed to, they can cross ref the info, but wont be able to tell you Good luck!
