You need to find her marriage certificate to the Turner fella. Do you know roughly when and where they married?

You need a birth certificate for the one born in 1902 and then you will have the dad's christian name. Heather

I know but it would be soo much easier if the mother-in-law knew her grandfather's name (tearing me hair out here)

I have been awake a long time so if I have lost the plot just tell me. Any of Elizabeth's marriage certificates will give her father's name(hopefully) and her maiden name. With a full name to marry off to TURNER you might be more lucky in finding that marriage too.
