Whats the price of a certificate these days? The last time I ordered one I didn't send enough money! Is it cheaper online, and is it easy to do online? Thanks Lisa |

Lisa, before I joined GR, I went to my local office and ordered two birth certificates from 1910. I took the all the information I had, which was the same information required on the web site to order and they cost me £15 each. I now only use the GRO web site. Very easy and only £7 if you have the district, volume and page number the entry is listed on. There are several sites you can get this information from. JO |

Thanks everyone. Well, thats it, I've ordered 2 births and 1 death, delivery date 9th May hopefully. Got a bit worried when it came to payment and it said 'you will have 15 minutes to complete this' , I thought, crumbs, what do they need to know? It all went smoothly though, can't wait to get them!
