Hi Diane, Thanks a lot, I right clicked and the clicked on preferences and then could lighten the image. It's clear a a bell now LOL Linda

If you right click on the image you can view in either black and white or colour. Sometimes it's better in black and white, before they have filtered it as such

Sorry to be a pain but I have just found some of my lot on 1861 census on 1837.com but when I click on to get the image it's really bright then goes straight to murky grey. You can hardly read it, Is it me again? I won't be offended if you say it is I'm a bit scatterbrained this week. Linda
