HELLO I NEED A LOOKUP OF A MARRIAGE BETWEEN DAISY MAY HUMPHREYS (COULD BE SPELT DIFFERENTLY) AND A REGINALD CHARLES TAYLOR. I ONLY HAVE VAGUE IDEAS OF WHEN THEY WERE BORN AND NO IDEA WHEN THEY MARRIED IF ANYONE CAN HELP THIS WOULD BE SUPER. i WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE BETWEEN 1900 AND 1934 SOMETIME AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IN ESSEX SOMEWHERE AS THEY WERE BOTH BORN HERE AND THEY WERE LIVING IN EARLS COLNE WHEN MY GRANDFATHER WAS BORN. i HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP THANKS CLAIRE

Hi I had a quick look at Free BMD for you. No record of any marriage in Essex, so I asked for Reginald Charles Taylor's marriage taking place in any county. It came up with Bromley on the Greater London/Kent border. Reginald Taylor married in June 1910 to either Daisy Lydia Batchelor or Alice Amelia M Lewis Volume 2a Page 915. Hope this may be of some help to you. Dianne

Me again Tried it the other way round and looked for a marriage of Daisy in all counties, but it came up with no matches at all. Dianne

Do you know when they died? If you can find them on the death index this would give you an age or birth date and narrow down the period when they are likely to have married. If they stayed in the Earls Colne area could this be Reginald's death? TAYLOR Reginald Charles, death registered April 1987 Colchester Essex, Age 77, date of birth 12 Jan 1910

Hi, If the marriage was after 1912 or so the only place to find it in on the GRO indexes in a library or online on one of the pay to view sites. Gwynne

Judith My mum remembers him passing away when she was very little she was born in 1963 so soon after that. Thankyou for looking up for info tho its really kind.. We also think that Daisy passed away around 1941ish Sorry i dont have much info
