hi kate thanks for the advice, ive found that out before with lds, infact some times you get more than one entry for someone and it can be totally wrong. from one kate to another |

Kathleen - I wouldn't take too much notice of the IGI entry if I were you because it looks as though somebody just guessed. It is 'form submitted by a member of the LDS church' and we don't know where they got their information from but obviously not from any record of the marriage or it would give a date rather than 'before 1860'. hi crista, ive had lookups on 1837online and i have scoured ancestry. can find the family on 71, and 81 censuses (john hullock away at sea in 71, but dead by 81) kate |

Hi Kath,you might have looked on Lancashire BMD already,but if not,there is a marriage of Ann Postlethwaite to a Joseph Nelson in 1858 at St James church,Hyndburn..SJCK/2/479..No sign of a John Hullock though,, Regards Ross. |

can anyone help me find a marriage between ann postlethwaite and john hullock around 1859 in ulverston lancashire. i ordered a certificate from 1837 online but theyve just emailed me that its the wrong one ive asked for. kate |
