I know how you feel I have ancestors who came over from Ireland to live in the East End of London and only put Ireland as their place of birth on the census returns, what chance do you have of finding out where they were born, very little I am afraid, I have been stuck with mine and not moving anywhere for a longtime now. Hi, There are no passenger lists that I know of as people were allowed to cross the Irish sea in both directions without hindrance. Gwynne

Does anyone know if theres a place i could look for irish passengers to this country in the 1890's.I know my grt grt gran came from ireland but was hoping to find when and where she came to in england if poss??thanks.xx
