FTM 2005 - help with web search pleeeze

I've only started using FTM recently, still getting used to it. I found this out by accident - when on 'Family View' screen , if you change 'Highlight Results' (at the bottom) to 4 Stars it will drastically cut down the number of results. 3 Stars seems to let through 1000s of US results, 4 Stars just a few GB, or none at all (grrr). Seems they still need to do some work on this, it's certainly not satisfactory. Cheers Bea.

Jan, that's a blow, I thought it was something I'd done and readily fixable. I'd only just got the hang of the web search feature and was about to be impressed! - Karen

I wish I knew Karen, I'm having huge problems with FTM2005 searching the same as you. I've written to Ancestry, Genealogy, Family Tree, no-one taking any responsibility. Think it all went pear-shaped when they updated the site with new records and they're not admitting any changes. Bombard them, hope you have more luck than me. Best wishes Jan

Until recently when I did a web search on a person in FTM 2005 it came up will all UK census and BMD suggestions. Now for some reason I only get US results which I don't subscribe to and which are no use to me anyway. I must have clicked something but can't find anything relating to this. Can someone please tell me what to do to get UK results back please Thanks Karen
