Thanks Chris, I have entered my name and nothing comes up, been searching for this Guy and his son in 1901 for the last year (Henry Dipple born 27.12.1856 and his son Henry Edmund Dipple born 19.8.1879), it does'nt actually say intelligent person service anywhere or is it not supposed to :-/ I've given up on trying to find Elizabeth May in Hastings 1861 and saw this thread and thought Ah I'll go and look for my Henry's, anybody got any clues where they could be if not on the 1901, could they have gone to war? if so is there a site for soldiers? besides the normal one where it lists if they died? Maggie (continually banging head against brick walls - ouch!) Ooh just got into intelligent person bit - keep your fingers crossed

Is that for intelligent people to use, or just a way of finding intelligent relatives? Either way I don't think it applies to me! nell
