hi all please can someone help with a little project i am doing with my kids for school. on a gravestone in a local cemetery there is a WALTER COONEY who died in 1892 aged 25. he died from a fatal injury whilst playing football (this is why the kids picked out this stone to research because it caught there attention). i have found the family on all the census from 1871 to 1901 (his parents also buried in the same grave) and would like to see if we could find them on the 1861 or earlier. Father name is FRANCIS COONEY. the address on all census in warren lane which was classed as ecclesfield and wortley district of sheffield. would like to find anyother generation if poss. any help would be appriecated. hoping to get the kids interested in the family history hobby. my lot dont seems that interesting to them at the moment thanks hilary |
