Carol, The 1901 is the latest available Canadian census searchable at: http://automatedgenealogy(.)com/index.html There are some portions of 1906 on above site but it was only Western Canada. The rule here is 92 years, but the burocrats didn't want to release due to privacy concerns. I think that has been overcome and 1911 may be out later this year. hope this helps Barbara

Is the latest census available the 1901 as it is here, or do Canada have different rules regarding closure please.
