how do i send images please

hi can anyone tell how i send images iv'e been trying nearly 2 hrs now, but talk to me like i'm thick please because i am on computers. regards jackie.

I am assuming that you mean by email To send images you need to attach them to the email. Are you using your ISPs email or outlook express? On whatever email programme you are using there should be a tab somewhere to attach files, though there are some email ISPs that dont support it and will only send text.

hi all thanks for the reply, one is for photo's just been told what to do thanks amanda, the other is censuses when i find someone a family they ask for image i'm pretty crap at this, give up on sending census image but can now put my photo's on thankyou all kind regards jackie.

If you want to upload a picture to your tree, first you need to find out the type of picture it is. GR only uploads pictures that have .jpg or .gif files. If the picture has been saved as a .bmp. You need to view the picture as you would normally click on 'file' and then click on 'save as' rename the file and underneath there should be a little drop down tab make sure you change this so it says either .jpeg or .gif Once this is done go to the section of your family tree where you input all the information... birth death occupation etc scroll to bottom there is a tab that says 'ADD PHOTO' clcik on this. You then need to tell it where to look for the picture all being well it should then preview the image and you must click on save.
