Hi Kim do you have any other info regarding your Michael Sandford who did he marry and were what year etc. The one on the IGI cannot be yours as that couple are aged William 56 and Annie 55 in 1881 youngest child was 7 so Annie would be far to old to have another baby. They were the only William & Annie in Liverpool. Colette xxxxxxx |

Quite honestly, I'm sorry to say this but my guess would be that whoever put it up on the IGI got either the name, the date or the place wrong and so you may have to try to find info from elsewhere. I can't see him on the 1891 or 1901 census under the name Michael Sandford so you may have to try a few variations and maybe you will be able to find out where and when he was really born. Kate. |

Your information from the IGI is from batch 8105631, sheet number 57, 'form submitted by a member of the LDS church'. The batch contains 156 entries, births, christenings and marriages in various names and many different counties, from the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century. It looks as though the entries could be from somebody's family tree, but I can't find any info on whose! Anyway, we really have no way of knowing where he/she got the information from, so they could be wrong. The date of death is given as 23rd July 1916, have you tried checking that? It matches an entry for Michael Sandford on the cwgc.org website but no family details on there. Kate. |

Double check all the web sites. Some times the dates do not tally.Check on ancestry.co.uk and .com and freebmd.org.co.uk. If all else fails contact the record office via this site. Good luck |

Many thanks, Kim I,ve been on the 1837 online and can't find any trace. The name is Michael Sandford, born 25/10/1881 St.Annes,Liverpool so I just want to fing the other info on the birth cert.
