I want to apply for a copy of a Will which I know the date, place and full name of the deceased. I know a Will was made as I found an entry in the National Probate Calendar. Does anyone know the address of the office I have to apply to ? Also how much does it cost please ? Jenny

Jenny Check out this site, it tells you everything you need to know! http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/cms/wills.htm You have to write to York and the one I got cost £5 but that was a year or so ago, not sure if its the same now Lou

Yes its still £5 and you send to York. They seem to be taking longer at the moment. I sent for one on the 16 March and haven't got it yet. - another casualty of Who do you think You Are?!!! Anne
