	Margaret, I think a very large number of us have East End ancestors - it was the place to migrate to for work. Generally, there are a lot of sites that can help you re those areas, but you may like to consider joining the FHS for the East End. Tower Hamlets archives/records office are also brilliant for helping enquiries.
