We have the Mail on Saturday for the free week ahead TV guide which we dont buy but Sis does. We have a freeby weekly The Observer posted on a Friday and we may occasionally get the (Bristol) Evening Post on a Wednesday - just to keep up with jobs.

As most print what they like and not always the truth prefer not to waste my money on them.

Thanks for all your replies and I think it is healthy for us all that we can get our news from other sources apart from the Daily's - who all follow a particular idealogy!

However, I confess that I do buy the Sunday Times as I like the Culture magazine for film and book reviews!

I would love to be able to see Ann's letters tho Lol

I'll pay more a attention to it tomorrow now you have mentioned it Ros.

We used to get the Sunday Post too, but found sometimes we didn't get round to reading both
so cut it down to one paper.

I read The Guardian daily and The Observer on Sunday's. Unless you are unfortunate enough to experience it at first hand, all news is mediated whether it is on paper, screen, or radio, etc; and, as such, should be treated with caution.

Don't read the papers, they're full of sensational claptrap- only watch the news on TV- gives me what i want to know then look up the things on BBC website.

Read local newspapers though
