From the CWGC site it appears that Alfred Ernest Watkins was the twin who died in WW2, as it states he was the son of Sidney Horace & Esther Hetty Watkins, he was also married and had a wife called Violet. |

Remember on the marriage reference that SYdney is spelt with a Y not an I. |

Greenwich - but I searched with Sidney also in the household. Could be brother rather than father I suppose. |

On the 1911 census there is a Hetty Watkins age 30 living in Poplar. Not sure if this could be the one. Where is the daughter living in the 1911 census? |

This is the only Esther Hayes I can see who isn't married and is living in Greenwich in the 1901 census (you would still need the marriage certificate to be sure that the father's name matches):- |

Do you have your grandparent's marriage certificate? If not this is the reference to order it. This will give you Esther's approximate age and also hopefully her father's name and occupation which will help to find them in the census (note that your grandfather's name is spelt SYDNEY and not SIDNEY):- |
