Hi Pink

Zinc and caster oil....brilliant for teenage spots as well as babies.....any rash goes within a few days....and Vic Vapour rub.....brilliant for headaches if rubbed on the forehead...both are always in my cupboard.

not tried the Trex though Jac....will do the next time I make pastry:-))

I shouldnt pass this info. on .......but I will:

a friend's daughter has just had some dermalogical work carried out on her face - laser treatment etc. and was advised to moisturise, moisturise, moisturise (apparently this helps the skin recover). She was supplied with a tub of cream from the consultant's office and used this up rapidly.

On her return to the consultant's office for a check-up a week or so later, she said she had used the cream and could she buy some more. The answer was, yes of course, but visit the supermarket, it's cheaper there. The name of the cream? TREX
- a pure and simple solution.

Havent actually tried it myself, but for those with very very dry skin, it's supposed to be marvellous (and as recommended by a Harley St. Consultant)

Having tried all sorts of moisturisers over the years, i still find myself coming back to good old cheapo nivea creme!

Anyone else have an old product they can't live without?
