Hello Foggy glad you put your head in nice to see your still around and not tucked up in bed with thick covers to keep out the cold.
I heard that big kiss Stephen.
My daughter phoned this evening she is staying in a hotel near Marilyn it took them ages to get to North Devon they stopped on the way for a walk about and then for a snack. and got to the Hotel at 5 oclock, they had left Uxbridge at 10. 30 by coach.
she said they went through rain, sleet and snow on there way it was cold at the time of phoning.
she is off on a coach tour near where Marilyn is staying tomorrow.

Tomorrow is my big day. not looking forward to it. but it is something you cannot change.

Thank you. my son has taken the day off to take me tomorrow,so I will be warm in his car. he has a landrover and it gets very warm in there.

I went into Waitrose this morning, and gave a letter to the manageress to give to the Customers manager about the culiflower going pink. it has cause a lot of laughter. I said they should place a notice above the cauliflowers explainging this can happen so the customers can either buy or leave well alone. Me I shall leave alone.

Oh George your still around on here lol I wondered where you were ? so you had a good weekend thats nice.

we have the sun out it is streaming through my front room window.it is a little cold though as I went into the laundry and did the washing, just waiting now for the dryer to finish spining then I can go out to the Post Office.

we have the tree doctor here this morning cutting some of the dead branches off the tall trees. and they are not quiet lol , also the guy in the flat nearby has the plumber in and carpenter and the noise from that is as bad. . reminds me of the dentist drill. she says as she shudders.


Marilyn I found the papers from DFHS I was looking for something in a file and came across them..

off to check the washing now.

Its very cold outside....and I have to go over the Dartmoor where its snowing this morning in order to get to North Devon.......but got me warm jumpers & boots and DIY kit in the car ..LOL

Hubby has just retrieved the recycling bags and he said it is freezing here.
Still sleeping too late in the morning.

Need to try to sort out the new bed today. looked on saturday and nearly spent a lot of money. 2 shops 2 lots of advice. One was the Tempur mattress which we found was said to be very hot !!! The other a Sealy which had terrible remarks online. So out again today to see what else is available.

Need a couple of Birthday gifts too both son and daughter in February and likely to have our grandchild too, it will be an expensive month for us.
