With the help of some wonderful people, I have managed to find that John Joseph Hall, his wife Daisy Jane nee Maughan and their children migrated to Canad in 1908. ON the 1911 English Census, I found that one of the children, Victor Maughan Hall was in England, being adopted by a William and Jane Kirkby at Erlington Station. On the 1916 Canadaian census for Prince Albert, Saskatchawan, they were living at a place called Carrot Creek, JOhn was a farmer, Daisy the wife had died in 1913, the children were Dorothy 18, Lucy E 17, John C 15, Fred 14, Desmond 10, Alfred S 6, Daisy 4, and Victor the son who had been left behind when they migrated 12. Victor it seems came back to England some time later, as I found his death at South East Hampshire, he was 94 when he died, He had been living at Northcott House, Bury Hill Lane, Alverstoke, Gosport, Hampshire, and the informant of his death was a Victor Patrick ETTIE and he was listed as being his nephew.
If there is anyone who recognises any of the names and may be able to help me find the descendants , I would love to hear from you.

If you look on 192.com there is a Victor Ettie's marriage but no details unless you get credits but there is no death noted so he is probably still alive. Wouldn't it be great if you could find him and other family members.

Dear Liz, Many thaks for your reply to my query about John Joseph Hall, and Victor Maughan Hall, I am sorry I haven't replied sooner, but I thought Genes Reunited notified people when there was a reply to a request, I have only just found out it isn't so. I was able to find the death of Victor in 1999, I did try to trace back Victor Ette's connection, but so far there is nothing. Guess another dead end. Many thanks again, Bev

What a shame Victor died, could you not get any info on who reported his death?
