Lovely to hear how you are doing you amazing lady.
Thank you for caring enough during your darkest moments to remind all us women of the need to check for this disease.
Hard to believe it's been ten months!
Wishing you strength and good health for the future.

Thanks Gwynne - please pass on my admiration (even though it will probably embarrass her) and love to Lynne. She had the courage to post about this when she herself was devasted - I call that so brave and showed so much concern for others.

Do enjoy your day tomorrow.

Dear Lynn, so wonderful to hear you sounding so chipper. You've been an inspiration to many of us on here, who may be very lax in checking for symptoms and signs of the Big C.
Blessings, and hugs

.......................................................................................................

Hello friends,

Thought it about time I gave you an update again.

Well, I'm almost back to my old self, feeling pretty damn good actually, have the odd days where my legs and groins arent very good, and I struggle a little, but they are few and far between now.

I saw both my surgeon and oncologist last week, and they were both delighted with how I'm doing, my surgeon in particular was amazed, how much I had improved in just a few weeks, not the hobbling, snivelling very down lady he last saw, but the bright bubbly, funny lady he first met months ago.

He is very, very pleased with how the op went, and has given me the all clear again, and the best bit of news is he has made my next appointment for 3 months time :o)))

So this is fab news, we are all delighted, my next appointment with my oncologist is in 6 months. So I shall be seen by one or the other every 3 months.

It's been a dreadful time this last 10 months, and at times I felt very angry, the " why me " syndrome, but hey, we got through it, and I like to think it has made me a stronger person. It's really made me understand the important things in life.

As always a special thank you to my family, I love you all to absolute bits, and my friends, well, what can I say, you have been the very best. I'm such a lucky lady to have you in my life xxxx

And of course the lovely folk on here, you have made me smile, laugh and cry at times, you're all little stars.

Please all, do me and yourselves a huge kindness, and never forget about this dreadful cancer, pass on to all the ladies you know, men too, ( why not ) and check yourselves on a monthly basis it might just be able to help or save one woman the nightmare that is Vulva Cancer,

Thank you everyone, I send you lots of love, and many, many thanks for being so caring.

Take care everyone, and God bless

Lynn xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm meeting Lynn for a late breakfast and a little light shopping tomorrow.
