It seems as if our illustrious prime minister has done it again .
ignoring his invitation to the opening of a rehabilitation centre for bab=dly injureed troops in edinburgh even though he was just a few miles away .
Ok to send them to a conflict we have no hope in winning , but when the s**t hits the fan he and his government are found to be sadly lacking , my youngest is lucky he has arrived home safe ,with no real after effects that the government state are non existant .
I have not read or heard of our deffence minister taking a trip out there to actually witness the reality but there again he wouldn't would he .

I saw the report on the local Scottish news, and was so touched by the unit being named after a young soldier who lost his life.

It won't ever give these wounded men their lives back again, but hopefully it will go a long way to helping them make a future for themselves and their families.

The lack of the PM's attendance didn't go unnoticed, and it has added yet another black mark against him.

It's not good, Igor. Not good at all. A bit of respect costs nothing.

I'm glad your boy's home safely, though.

All the best,

They've got the gab, but not the action!
All mouth and no trousers - as my gran would say!
Seriously, I've not seen much real support from this (or the previous) government apart from 'mouthing '.
