The last book my dear old Mum recommended to me when she had become bed-ridden and close to her end was called " The Sixth Beatitude " by Radcliffe Hall . She said the lead character in it reminded her greatly of me . I really must read it again as I'm sure some of it was lost to me at that emotional time . But , she wasn't wrong and I certainly saw elements of myself : )) |
