If your child has a sleepover, try to arrange that you, the parents have an easy day the next day as you will likely be soooo tired.

Daughter asked for a sleepover to celebrate her 11th birthday and as they were a great crowd who all got on well and would soon be leaving to go to various schools, we had a mixed bunch of boys and girls to stay.
The boys were no trouble, but the girls!!!
Some had brought raw jelly cubes with them to put in the boys' sleeping bags. I kept finding jelly for weeks, stuck inside lamp shades, behind pictures etc.....but we survived.

Elder daughter asked another year if her friend and her German exchange partner could stay. With permission of the other parents and OK from the school it was arranged.
Before I knew it, we had 6 English and 6 German girls camped in our living room. They had a great time.

See what you're in for?

Glad it gets easier Sue this is horrid lol.

It's not as nice as I thought it would be Rose !!!.......It's so QUIET. Youngest is still here so I'm not completely free of children........it's just that for the last 4 odd weeks all I've heard is endless rows and fights.......now there's just one......it's almost too easy lol.

Crack open that bottle Mummo......and put the music on !!! I NEED NOISE and I never thought I'd be saying that !! xx
