Searching the 1891 census does NOT produce a full set of results. I guess the index is not complete. |

What site are you using to find whoever you are looking for? Perhaps try another site or try spelling variations etc. |

I had this trouble, sometimes you can get the result by the back door. I was looking for my Great-grandfather in the 1871 census. No result. Then I tried my Great-grandmother, still no result. I already knew the names of their children so I tried one of them - bingo, up it came including Great-grandad and grandma, who I could not find using their names! Why it worked this way I don't know. Hiccup in the database maybe? |
