Women are not allowed to own property in Turkey, A friend of mine married a Turkish man,she paid for a property,but it had to be in his name. When they split, he got the lot
I don't know if it is the same foreigners buying in though

Check whether there would be any problem with inheritance.
You may need a special Will, for example.

As Rach says, a good solictor will advise.

whats the advantages and pit falls

this is not a time share property
