which would it be?

Am watching Life on Mars.......and no way would I want to revisit the seventies as an adult........fun as a child that didnt know about sky and computers though :0)

I'd go back to the eighties...for the fun of it..for sentimental reasons........

But for real research purposes........1920 so I could meet all my G Grandparents and pick their brains lol

Sad thing is they were so sure in those days that it was unsinkable.

I wonder if anyone DID suggest extra lifeboats.......as a *belts and braces* measure......and if they did what the reaction would've been.........

Dear all

Hello

I would go back briefly to 1891 to see my great-grandparents x 2.

This was just before the argricutural land was developed and industry came along.

Shortly afterwards, the family was spilt up.
The poverty and housing were terrible. and if you were sick, then you lost your home.

Two of the boys went to Yorkshire to work in the mines and apart from them and my great-grandmother, I cannot locate the rest of the children.

I would tell them that no matter how hard things are, your descendants
will find you and always remember you.

I agree Muffy and Keith about the Titanic.

It was the 20th anniversaries of Hillsborough and the sinking of the Marchioness boat.

But people who should have been held responsible for both tragedies
were not.

Best wishes
xx

I always feel an affinity with the 1930's/40's. I don't know why - it wasn't the best of times.
