Have been upstairs to see what make mine are and most are Rimmel(with Lycra). They are not too expensive and do stay on for quite a good length of time.I reckon a good 5 plus days.

OPI and Nails Inc. with a top coat they stay on my nails for 14 days with no problems.

Remember to keep all your polishes in the fridge :-))

I have a Rimmel one at the moment with base and top coat and I put it on last Wednesday, it is not chipped at all. I find some of the Boots ones good too, No 7 or 17 and also L'oreal, but always use base and top coat.

Why is it a good idea to keep them in the fridge?I have never heard of that.

Stops polishes becoming 'sticky' and they last forever :-))

Virgin Vie nail varnish is very good too - and lasts for donkeys years - without going in the fridge lol

The best I've ever had is Chanel . Not only does it stay put on your nails, but it doesn't go all gunky in the bottle, fridge or no fridge, it lasts for yonks.

From Boots -

Bourjois is wonderful. Easy to put on and lasts a week or more.

I am wearing Estee lauder rose arpicot, but agree with Ann a good base top clear varish is a must as well as a decent nail polish remover.
