Was getting a little bit skittish. Big responsibility having the grandkids with you away from the home environment.

We have wonderful times with our grandkids when they come to stay so this holiday will be the icing on the cake.

I may come back knackered but what the hell.

Will let you know how we get on.

You should see my figure these days. I can't go swimming with the kids.

I look like a pregnant Olive Oyle. It's all the tea and cakes those peeps of mine ply me with. Never trust someone who is over 80 they will damage your health!

I'm luck my legs haven't snapped and gone up my bum with this spare tyre round my waist!

Taking the grandkids on holiday to Pontins for a 4 night break next week before they go back to school.

I had it all planned.............

Late nights on here with a sly bottle of Rose. Get up late, about 6.30am. Bit of gardening, H work to a minimum, pub lunch with friends, perhaps do a bit more work on my dolls houses... just relaxing.

My bloody husband asks the grandkids do they want to go on a holiday with us... of course they say yes and without mum and dad.

Have spent the last bloody hour tipping out a great glass coin jar and bagging up the two pees and ten pences for the machines in the arcades. Got about £90 so far. Well that's me sorted.

We will have a wonderful time with them as they are really lovely kids but I do wish sometimes my husband wasn't so off the cuff and planned things just a little in advance.

I am going to need another holiday when I come back.

I can see it now. I'll be phoning my company asking if they can send a carer to look after a carer..... me!
