Yes I could Jane, I am upstairs and with the windows open :)

Uggers there is indeed something very melancholy about the geese flying over, a sense of something 'lost' maybe....

( "I sit beside the fire and think of how the world will be when winter comes without a spring that I shall ever see. ...")

I saw something that almost took my breath away yesterday. A small blue wren sitting on a branch of a tree in my back yard. Nearby was his partner and two babies. They are such tiny little things and the blue on the male is a sight to behold.

Could you hear the sound of the wings?We used to get Canada geese that landed next door as there is a mini lake there.But they don't come anymore.I don't know why.

A perfect 'V' of geese flying over almost within 'touching' distance :)))
