PDSA cant work this out

have to take dog to vet tomorrow and last time she had the same thing cost us £150 some of which i could claim back from pet insurance.

Now that hubby not working cant afford the exces on it although the policy is still being paid at minute and as we fall into their eligibility category am going to PDSA.
I said to them have the policy but cant afford excess could i get some of the money back for them on it.

NO if i want to use it will have to go to normal vet but can go to them and make a donation and have her treated. I cant work this out surely they could make use of some of the money back or am i missing something

It may be the way their system is tied up legally Dawnie. as long as theyw ill treat her, use them not your policy, that is if you can afford a small donation.

will find the money cant have her chewing her foot like she is its red raw last time she had a grass seed in it and had to be sedated for them to get it out and its either a donation or £60 excess so no choice really.
