Just some information to all you new searchers. When searching for marridges early 1900s. A lot of people do not relise that you need to search both names, as the person who got married does not show up. So basicaly the simple idea is do a search of person you are looking for and write down page number and listing ie 790 - 5c, Joe Bloggs then search the name of the person who married ie Mary Mentor. Once you come to Mary Mentor check the listing number against the page number and listing should match the number you have written down,as in this case 790-5c. |
