Bren from Oldham

Bren from Oldham Report 31 Aug 2009 09:19

I went to visit her yesterday she is now in the main ward and is her usual cheeky bubbly self and her complexion is absolutely glowing.which is a great improvement on the pale wan one that she had before
She e is progressing well and is now walking unaided when she is doing her hourly walkabout.although she is bored at times but she brightens up when her friends go to see her and tell her all the local gossip.
Yesterday my daughter met with the Cardiac liason nurse and she said that subject to blood levels being ok there is a chance of her being discharged Wednesday/Thursday.and follow up care would be done by her GP, District nurses and our local hospital .She will have to have regular blood checks and go to exercise sessions at our local hospital
So it's a case of waiting to see what happens
Thankyou once a gain for your messages

Bren Great news. Hoping that she continues making progress.
I always think that when you are back in your own surroundings, it helps your progress so much, so here's to her getting home in the next few days.
She has done very well so far, and been very brave.
