August 31st. 1900.

Coca-Cola arrived in Britain, 14 years after it went on sale in the United States.

Charles Candler, eldest son of of Cola company founder Asa Candler, visited Britain with a jug of Cola syrup in hand, and it proved so popular that five more gallons were immediately ordered from the US.
