i am having trouble to find a person (grandfather)
i have his full name marriage cert year of birth who he married
royal navy number DJX215904 but seems i cant find birth details
can anyone point me the right way to go
granfather george john astley lane born 1921/22
married ivy lydia maund 5th sept 1945 he was aged 23 yrs old on marriage cert
lived in reading whitley area
moved to douglas ilse of man george was in navy based there
had colin 1947 douglas i o man
george's father was george astley lane warrent officer RAF
maybe something to do with shell oil south africa
