Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum.... but

Is it possible to obtain records of adoption from 1928-1935 and if so.... where.

I'm looking for the record of an uncle who lived in London

No you cant acccess adoption records. the individual record would only be available to the adoptee through their local social services or the adoption agency that dealt with the adoption

Thanks for that, shame as the person and his adoptive father (and biological mother) are all now deceased :-(

even if it was a parent or sibling you cant see their adoption record if they now deceased , their info dies with them I,m afraid
