Before going to see "Aliens in the Attic" the other night ( was fun) Son and I went for coffee and a pannini in the adjoining cafe, part of a well know chain...

Sat there I was considering how well it had been designed, quite an eclectic mix colour and shape wise of chairs, sofas and tables, but throughout , a combination of colours that worked incredibly well , Deep burgundy, dark chocolate , a dull pink shade, echoed by that in the posters, Deep red lamps and plant pot, really cleverly done.... loved the chairs we sat in, want to find them!

Is there somewhere you go where you just love the design?

Note to self. When taking RR for coffee check the decor before allowing her through the door! Most important though is to check they serve Green Tea for me. J*

LOL J* I'm not fussy as long as the tea or coffee is vaguely drinkable , but it was nice to have time to sit and take in the surroundings...one of the reasons why i like watching 'house buying' programs so much is that I can snoop on designs and colour combinations :))

Hope you are not turning into a 'Kirsty' I watch those progs and wonder where they find the peeps who think they can buy a mansion on a tight budget - that is the reason I'm here and not in the neighbouring county!

erm, yes I may be a bit of a Kirsty, J * lol.

Amazing what some of the buyers turn down and the budgets they have in the first place! Interesting to see which ones can spot 'potential' and which can't see beyond the current decor and furnishings.
