A town quite close to ours had one open a while back........didn't really take too much notice as I thought it would be much like Poundland........
Have to say........I'm REALLY impressed with what they had in there !!! Ended up spending Waaaaaay to much though I got some real bargains.

Anyone else been in one and what did you think? Apparently they are taking over a lot of the vacant shops left by Woolworths xx

Yes Muft, I thought it was all tat in there

I prefer poundland personally

I know it's a bit dearer but you only get what you pay for at the end of the day

Well we've got a 99p shop, Poundstretchers and Poundland here. I never go into the 99p shop, as the owners and (large) family have a tendency to follow their customers round the store...which is offputting.

Poundstretchers is ok, they have some nice stuff in there, especially the household stuff, but for bargains, Poundland is the best, with lots of well known brands to choose from. Yes there's some cheap tat in there too, but who cares?

The 99p store this way had lots of branded stuff in too TW.....I picked up some great stocking fillers for the kids plus some household bits and pieces.

Poundland here seem to have had the same stuff in it for about the last 3 months so I stopped bothering going in xx

Well Woolies would be about in the high street today if they hadnt lost the plot and decided to ''revamp''their stores. Woolworths are still trading on-line by the way xx

We patronise 99p and poundland shops in the ******** shopping centre; there are certain things we look for there ie sugar puffs £1
