In my experience people on the site are very welcoming. There are sevarl threads which you can read telling you what info you need to put on to some of the search threds. If you give as much info as possible even if it is only for one por two people I am sure you will find it much easier. We all support each other.

Think of the money you will save which will then help to buy certs to prove your info is correct. Start with the line you find most interesting and stay in touch with us all

You need to use the Tips board. Write out all the info you have birth marriages dates locations etc and where you are stuck. Say if you have found people on censuses, if you have proof in the form of certificates. People can then point you in the right direction.

How far have you got briefly?

I have tried doing it myself, but coming to dead ends. Am going to try one more time as this is something I really need to do, do you have any tips at all? Thanks Ann.

Getting somebody to do your whole tree is going to be a bit expensive. Are you unable to do any of it yourself? Much more fun.

You might find somebody if you buy one of the family history magazines, there are usually adverts in the back, however, as I said be prepared to pay quite a bit.
