Nothing in the book says one has to sleep in the same room.....depends on whether one has the space. I have an aversion to sleeping in the same room as anyone...always have and always will.

Hi Aileen

Well what can I say, belive me if I had room I would move to another

My partner takes up all the bed his head even ends up on my pillow and I always find myself on the edge of the bed every night.

When he does snore I just give him a dig and he does stop for a while then I give him another.

Ive said to him the next bed we buy will be the bigest one I can find.

As it drives me around the bend, and we are only in our 40's

do you sleep with your husband/partner in the same bed?

It would appear that sleeping in separate beds, or rooms is better for your physical and mental health and apparently your sex life. Can't remember what that is!

I can attest to that. My husband could demolish houses when he snores and I being a light sleeper and having to get up at ungodly hours I took to sleeping in another room. It was making me ill this sleep depravation.

Now the girls have their own homes I have three spare bedrooms. Makes me laugh when he wants me for something (not the how's your father) and has to trapsey round them trying to find which one I am in.

I do like variety and change rooms quite often. I have portable tvs and books etc in all the bedrooms so sometimes I am in a single bed or spread out in a double. I lead such a life of luxury!

It would appear that 40% of over 70s sleep in separate rooms. Well I have nearly a couple of decades before I get to that age, but I am just starting early.
