I have just received a death certificate from the Scottish Registrar regarding the above, which I have somehow ordered incorrectly as this is not my relative. If anyone does have this gentleman as a relative and would like the death certificate (£10 from registrar, free to any relation on a first come first service basis) please contact me, or leave details on this thread.

There is a site for posting details from b, m & d certs so that other people can see the details.
It is a free service at present, bdmshare.com.
If you take a look you might even find some of your relatives!
