Lovely here again June, if not a trifle on the cool side just yet. Forcasted to last through the weekend. Just the thing for me, as I am beginning to clear away the garden, gradually, emptying out the summer hanging baskets, and planting up afresh for the winter. In the past I have been caught out, and not got enough done before the weather 'turns', so I thought I would make an early start, doing at my leasure, and enjoying the late sunshine

Stella - yes it surprising just how much work is involved in putting a garden to 'bed', for the winter.
This morning OH has taken our dog up to the Vet's for the special bath she has to have for a skin complaint. So a few hours of being able to move around the house, without falling over her. OH is going to help me have a mini blitz through the rooms, whilst she has gone. Then I can get back to the garden. He is having to do the same with his allotment, pulling out weeds and old vegetables that had gone over, cutting back the soft fruit bushes, etc. It's a busy life, isn't it.
